The football match between France and Israel, scheduled for November 14 at the Stade de France, will not be relocated, Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau announced Friday.
“Some are calling for the France-Israel match to be relocated. I do not accept this: France is not backing down because that would amount to giving up in the face of threats of violence and anti-Semitism”, posted Bruno Retailleau on his X account.

On September 6, the Nations League match between Belgium and Israel did not take place in Brussels, as initially planned. It had been relocated to Debrecen in Hungary.
Around sixty people were arrested after several incidents on the sidelines of the match between Ajax Amsterdam and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denounced “a premeditated attack.”
