We immediately discussed the clichés and preconceptions that we convey. Franck, he's handsome and, a bit like very pretty girls, you might think that he plays on his physique. And then, since he's been on stage and Camping, some people think that he's this guy in his underwear who makes jokes”, he said.

According to him, when he met Franck Dubosc, he didn't “have to deal with a guy who was trying to have a joke contest with me”. “I found myself facing a little boy who said to me: “I like a job well done. That's what I want to do”. We got on well right away”, he assured.
For his part, Franck Dubosc indicated : “The first time I spoke to Benoît on the phone, I felt like we already knew each other. There are similarities between our two careers: he started out being funny and then he went all over the place. We could have done comedies before together and it didn't happen”.
Franck Dubosc: “I never let go”
Asked about the way he had directed Benoît Poelvoorde, it was with humor that Franck Dubosc declared: “I did it ch… But at the end, he said to me: 'My Francky, I understand why you did me ch…!'“. À the first reading, we were all alone in his office, there were two pralines and he was already starting to correct me. I told him: 'Wait until I'm up!'”.
Amused, the Belgian actor assured that he understood from the first day of filming that Franck Dubosc wouldn't let him get by. “At the beginning, I struggled. I'm a lazy actor, I replace one word with another… I didn't know my lines. After three days, I learned it“, he said before Franck Dubosc added: “I never let go of him, but he taught me that when you have an actor who is a high-end instrument, you have to let him play”.
