Every day at 2:30 p.m., meet ten minutes before at the Tourist Office (€12).
The Faculty of Medicine: a historic building
Meet Rabelais, Nostradamus, François Gigot, Lapeyronie and Glafira Ziegelemann, one of the very first students of the faculty. Learn more about the defense of the doctorate and its traditions, in front of the bust of Hippocrates. A tour through the prestigious rooms to grasp the history of Montpellier medicine and the life of the faculty from yesterday to today. Meet at 3 p.m. in front of the old Faculty of Medicine (no entry for children under 12). Price: €12 and €15.
Private mansions, architectural treasures
The visit this Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. of the courtyards of private mansions offers the opportunity to discover the evolution of the residence in Montpellier, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Unusual visit for children
This visit, Saturday January 4 (9 am-12 pm) reserved for children from 6 to 11 years old, is doubled with a pottery workshop. The tour guide, Pauline Salembier, will take the children on a fun and creative adventure in the heart of the Saint-Roch district through the discovery of historical characters for 1 hour 30 minutes with the help of an educational booklet, the guide and the mascot Huguette the tree frog. At the workshop, with a craftsman from Figula, the children will be able to make a character discovered during the walk by manipulating clay supervised by the artist for 1 hour 30 minutes. Price: €60/child (free for accompanying parents). Meet 10 minutes before on the Place de la Comédie, in front of the steps of the Opéra Comédie.
