Conceived by SudVinBio, in partnership with the City of Montpellier, the Métropole, the Hérault Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Montpellier Tourist Office, “the Organic Wine Festival aims to highlight the wineries in our region that are involved in this agriculture“, says Nicolas Richarme, President of SudVinBio.

From the vine to the glass

A unique route called “Urban itinerary” is offered to all enthusiasts curious to explore the world of organic wines at all the event's partners: wine cellars, restaurants, wine bars, organic stores in the Montpellier metropolitan area. Montpellier and, since this year, certified organic wine estates in the surrounding area.

To make sure you don't miss any of the tastings, meetings, fun workshops and public conferences during these fifteen days of celebration, you will find an interactive map on the Destination Hérault and Organic Wine Festival mobile applications, as well as on the event website (1).

The festival ambassador and the organic surprise

This year, it is the Domaine de Mirabeau – Vigne de Cocagne, in Fabrègues, which has been chosen by SudVinBio to play the role of ambassador. “We did a blind tasting of the wines to determine which one would represent us. The one from Domaine de Mirabeau was chosen for its quality. In addition, it has an attractive price range and is easy to reuse glass“, explains Olivier Goué, director of SudVinBio.

This is the wine, white or red, that will be offered to you if you participate in the festival. To be eligible, for each bottle or glass purchased, you must scan the QR code via the La Fête du vin bio mobile application. After the third purchase, the count is good and the bottle can be collected from the Tourist Office. The latter will also offer free tastings on site in the company of winemakers. Meetings and good wines, the party will be beautiful.
