Stéphane Bern wants to be buried in his garden

Since moving into the 17th century building, Stéphane Bern has decided to end his days there. Even more surprising, the 61-year-old man even plans to be buried there. He thus revealed: “I have a grave in the garden”.

Just like Alain Delon, the host therefore plans to be buried on his estate. A decision which is however regulated by law. Indeed, in order to install his tomb, Stéphane Bern had to make a special request. “I had authorization from the prefecture because this place belongs to a foundation and will therefore never again be a private domain” he declared. &Upon his death, the royal college will therefore return to the Foundation Stéphane Bern for history and heritage.

The facilitator discusses his report particular &agrav; death

While Stéphane Bern spoke openly about the place where he will one day rest, he was questioned about his relationship with death. “From time to time, I go to my grave, where there is neither name nor date, and I say to myself ‘don't forget that you will return to dust’. Talking about death is not morbid. The all thing is to put his affairs in order” he thus confided.

While the history and royalty enthusiast is well aware that he will one day rest on his Thiron-Gardais estate, he prefers for the moment to concentrate on his life. For the moment, he therefore continues to renovate the residence, which fell into ruin a few years earlier.
