This extension of authorization represents a potential turnover of 5 million Canadian dollars in the long term (3.4 million euros) in a full year.

The Nîmes-based Bastide group, one of the main European players in home healthcare services, announces the extension of its authorization to operate in the field of respiratory assistance in British Columbia in Canada and the sale of its French subsidiary Cica plus, specialized in stomatherapy, the company explained in a press release on Wednesday, January 8.

A development potential

Present in Canada on the home respiratory assistance market since the acquisition of Medpro Respiratory Care in 2022, this authorization extension represents a potential turnover of 5 million Canadian dollars in the long term (3.4 million euros) in a full year. This new extension illustrates the organic development potential of the Bastide Group in Canada, the entity specifies.

In addition, as part of its strategy of selling assets with low potential for organic growth and/or creation of additional value, Bastide announces the sale of its French subsidiary Cica plus, specializing in the provision of services around chronic wound care. Cica plus achieved a turnover of €3.4 million in 2023-2024 with a deficit EBITDA, the group specifies. Who continues the analysis of its portfolio of activities and possible assets to be sold which will contribute to its priority objective of reducing debt and improving the financial leverage ratio.
