Gard Rhodanien wins: ten winners rewarded by Midi Libre for their commitment to making their region shine

Dans le cadre du Club Éco Midi Libre, dix acteurs et structures qui font rayonner le territoire ont été mis à l’honneur lors de la cérémonie “Le Gard rhodanien qui gagne” qui s’est déroulée jeudi 12 décembre à Laudun.

Emotion, smiles, kindness… On Thursday evening, November 12, during the evening organized by the Midi Libre Eco Club, the ten winners of the “Gard rhodanien qui gagnant” trophies and partners shared a special moment in the new event space of Maison Sinnae in Laudun. Winners chosen for their actions that make the Gard rhodanien shine beyond its territory.

Sports, environmental, cultural associations, businesses, artisans, and even health professionals were thus rewarded by the partners of the Midi Libre Eco Club of the Gard rhodanien. Presented by Olivier Biscaye, editorial director of Midi Libre, each was able to tell their story and the passion that drives them. The partners of the Midi Libre Eco Club have welcomed the approach of your local daily newspaper, which has come to promote a territory, the Gard rhodanien “located on the borders of Occitanie”, but which is “rich in many nuggets”. “I am proud that Midi Libre can promote all its territories”, stressed Estelle Devic, deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper.

1. Luc Pelaquié

Philippe Pellaton, president of Maison Sinnae, presented a trophy to Luc Pélaquié, president of the Laudun wine union. It is both the history of his family estate and his action for the recognition of Laudun wines as a vintage, for reds and whites, obtained in September, which were rewarded. Two winegrowers rooted in the Gard rhodanien who work to make viticulture shine. “I associate all the winegrowers of the AOC Laudun with this trophy”, emphasized Luc Pélaquié.

2. Alexandre Diard

A master artisan baker since October, Alexandre Diard (right), head of two bakeries and pastry shops in Bagnols-sur-Cèze and Valliguières, has been rewarded by the president of the CCI du Gard, Éric Giraudier. “You have made a choice of quality”, he congratulated him while inviting him to Miam, the gastronomy and local products fair next year. The young baker has been practicing his passion for ten years. This trophy represents “recognition for all the work accomplished”, shared Alexandre Diard.

3. Julien Bulard

Master glassmaker Julien Bulard received a trophy from Catherine Vittoz, deputy director of CAPEB (Confederation of Crafts and Small Businesses). The Gard craftsman, “honored to receive this award”, followed in the footsteps of his grandfather and father to practice “this passionate profession”. He works within a 200-kilometer radius of his workshop in Saint-Alexandre.

4. The breast clinic

It was an entire team, that of the hospital center's breast clinic, that was rewarded. “Thank you for thinking of the health sector,” said Dimitri Dibo, head of the imaging department at Bagnols hospital. “Your award touches our hearts because we are not used to being put in the spotlight.” The trophy was presented by Cécile Bodarwé, the head of the Midi Libre Bagnols agency, and Estelle Devic, deputy editor-in-chief.

5. Laurent Gautier

Laurent Gautier, founder of KNet Partage which transforms cans (through recycling) into cents and then thousands of euros donated to children with disabilities throughout France since 2015, received a trophy from Philippe Broche, member of the Eco Club and director of EC Communication. “A company, an association, these are men and women who bring the territory to life in a brilliant way, like Laurent Gautier”, Philippe Broche emphasized.

6. LNB Studio

“This evening brings together many local players”, said Julien Sellens, the sales representative for Midi Libre's communication and advertising agency, Evelyne, with a smile, who presented the trophy to Liiyah, the co-founder of LNB Studio. The dance school born in Bagnols has 310 students aged from 3 to 70 years old: “We founded this association to make a dream come true” , she shared. At her side, her mother, Patricia, very involved since the beginning. The LNB Studio competition pole works miracles internationally. In 2025, the LNB Studio hopes to fly to the world championships in Los Angeles.

7. Bagnols Marcoule Athletics

Philippe Berthomieu, deputy for urban planning for the City of Bagnols, very involved in the sports world, has known them forever… He presented a trophy to the members of the CA who are so involved in the BMA (for Bagnols Marcoule Athletics), a club that is celebrating its 60th anniversary and whose cross-country is the oldest in France. “A dynamic club that trains young people, sportsmen, volunteers, athletes…”, stressed the elected official. The BMA is holding a Christmas Corrida in Bagnols at the end of the year.

8. Gard Ô Climat!

Laurent Sergeant and Charly Chaigneau, representing the thirty or so citizens involved in the Gard Ô Climat! association, received a trophy from Jonatana Rasolofono, president of Business sur Cèze, an entrepreneur club in which twenty professions are represented. The volunteers of Gard Ô Climat! are multiplying actions around soft mobility, waste, water, and biodiversity. Among their many actions: interventions in schools, zero waste workshops in priority neighborhoods, and solidarity bicycle repair workshop.

9. Friends of the painter Albert André

Yves Cazorla, the mayor of Laudun, presented the trophy to Elian Cellier, the president of the association Les amis d’Albert André. This prize rewards the actions carried out by the 150 members over the past fifteen years to keep the painter’s legacy alive. The mayor took the opportunity to announce “that a project will be completed by 2026” concerning the house of Albert André, located at the entrance to his town.

10. Habicap

For twenty years, the Habicap workshop in Tresques has offered clothing adapted to people who are losing their autonomy. “The important thing tonight is to highlight the seamstresses”, greeted the new associate manager of the small business, Muriel Sembelie, who received a trophy from Marco Lucca, founder of the Lucca group (Weldom, Boulanger). “The goal is to continue the company's growth”, Muriel Sembelie stressed, in the presence of one of the workshop's founders, Annick Guené.
