This Thursday, January 31, Complément d’enquête was dedicated to the Epstein case. The show retraced the story of this American millionaire, found dead in his cell on August 10, 2019. He was accused of setting up a huge trafficking of underage women between the United States and Europe. Helena Noguerra was invited to speak in the France 2 magazine.
Indeed, the actress began her career as a model when she was 14. She worked in particular for the agency run at the time by Jean-Luc Brunel, suspected of having been an accomplice of Jeffrey Epstein. During this interview, she spoke about Gérard Depardieu and the silence that has long reigned around her attitude towards women.

She particularly targeted Gérard Depardieu, the target of an investigation for rape. “It's true that once again, there is a whole system that protected because it's a kind of ogrewho is a bit of a schoolboy, a bit vulgar and who therefore, small & little one is overflowing more and more because there are no safeguards”, she estimated.
And to continue: “Since he is a star, a powerful man, we let it happen, everyone says: ‘Be careful, Gérard Depardieu is a little…’“, she explained, rejoicing of a change in mentalities. Lio's sister also dwelt on her condition as a woman, on a daily basis.
Faced with Tristan Waleckx, Helena Noguerra felt that women were prey, constant victims of violence of all kinds. “Honestly, when you're a woman, you know that it's everywhere. Only men are unaware of this and suddenly say, “Oh la la, fashion, cinema…”. But we women know that it's everywhere. It's on the subway with strangers, it's on the street. You men don't realize what it's like to live in a woman's skin…”, she reacted.
“We were taught to walk in the middle of the street because car doors and carriage doors can open […] In fact, we are always prey so we act like prey in the social space”, regretted the actress.
