The anger does not subside… At the beginning of 2024, more than sixty women accused Gérard Miller of inappropriate behavior, sexual assault and rape, particularly under hypnosis. While the psychoanalyst disputes the facts, Anna Mouglalis testified before the National Assembly commission on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. The opportunity to look back on the filming of her first film, Terminale, for which Gérard Miller directed the screenplay.

“In 1997, for my first film, I found myself being summoned by a producer of the film, to go to the home of Gerard Miller. I met Gerard Miller, who offered me to visit his home cinema”, she declared before assuring: “It's normal to have confidence when you're sent by the production to a screenwriter and you want to play in a film. All this should be very normal“.

Anna Mouglalis: “I find the guy frankly not likeable”

Face à Sandrine Rousseau, the 46-year-old actress explained : “It turns out that generally, we get the role when the director is seduced. But no, we didn't come to seduce him, we came to act. So there, there's a big problem. And there, he offers me a hypnosis session… Which I refuse. And then, I find the guy frankly not sympathetic”. So, Gérard Miller would have started to “tighten up” and &to become “a little bit aggressive”.

Annoyed, the psychoanalyst would have let go: “Well then what are we going to do and what should we do in this scenario ?”. “I told him: 'we don't have to do anything at all, given the way things are going, it's not worth it'. To which he replied that he would therefore remove my character's lines to give them to other actresses. I told him: 'so much the better'”, she assured.

Anna Mouglalis: “We were all between 18 and 20 years”

To conclude, the actress added : “I left thinking 'he's just an asshole', but during the filming – we were all between 18 and 20 years old – two young women realized that they had experienced the same thing and talked about it openly. (…) They experienced the hypnosis session and they experienced the assaults”.
