An 11-year-old girl was fatally stabbed in the Netherlands on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
The attack took place at around 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Nieuwegein, on Anemoonstraat, in the Netherlands. Police received several calls reporting a “knife incident”, reports Le Parisien.

“Seriously Injured”
Upon arrival at the scene, the police found the young victim “seriously injured” , stabbed in the street with a bladed weapon. Despite the efforts of emergency services, including a mobile medical team (MMT), the girl succumbed to her injuries, according to the press release from the Utrecht regional police.
Suspect arrested
A 29-year-old suspect from Nieuwgein was arrested, following information from passers-by. The man was taken into custody and his involvement in this tragic incident is under investigation. Police and forensic investigations are also underway at the crime scene.
