In the long-distance race between the digital giants, Google seems to have taken a head start. While Apple has still not presented its version of its artificial intelligence (Apple Intelligence) on European iPhones, it will now have to face competition, on its own products, from Gemini.

And for good reason, Google has just launched its own Gemini application on iPhone this Thursday. Thanks to the latter, it will now be possible to use Google's virtual assistant and its AI, directly on your smartphone under iOS.

Gemini Live, to make you forget Siri

Among the most interesting features arriving on the iPhone with this Gemini application, Google notably offers to make its virtual assistant work directly with voice commands. In the same way that Siri already knows how to do it on the iPhone, it will be possible to communicate with Gemini.

Google promises that the conversation can be “natural”. The brand assures that it will be a very powerful tool to “practice for an interview” or even “develop creative ideas”.

Gemini: the best teacher?

But Gemini is not just a virtual friend with whom you can have conversations. It can also turn into your private tutor, helping you acquire more and more knowledge. Gemini would thus be able to provide concrete examples, or even build tailor-made quizzes to help you test your knowledge. This feature is likely to be very popular with students who will be able to revise for their exams in just a few minutes thanks to Gemini.

One option among others

The last of Gemini's great strengths, which is very useful to master, is its integration within the suite of Google applications. Because Gemini does not work, even on iPhone, in isolation. The application will be able to work in tandem with other Google services such as Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar or Google Maps and many others.

How to download Gemini on iPhone ?

Disarmais available on both Android and iOS, the Gemini application is the ideal companion for anyone who wants to integrate AI into their daily lives. While waiting for the arrival of Apple Intelligence on iPhones (which is scheduled for next spring), users of Apple smartphones can turn to Gemini.

It is possible to download the Gemini application today on your iPhone. For people using Android smartphones, the Gemini application has already been available for several weeks, you can download it by following this link.
