While he was sentenced on November 12 by the courts to three years in prison and an arrest warrant had been issued against him, Marco Mouly is reportedly in Israel, where he has been seen on social media.

According to information from Parisien, the “king of scams” Marco Mouly was reportedly spotted on the social networks of a barber based in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is filmed next to an Italian man who does not necessarily understand what Marco Mouly is telling him. According to our colleagues, Marco Mouly, “considered a star in Israel”, “takes selfies” on the streets of Tel Aviv.

An arrest warrant issued against him

A 60-year-old fugitive, Marco Mouly was convicted in November in Paris for “fraud and fraudulent organization of insolvency by debtor”. Mouly had notably been found guilty of having organized his insolvency in order to not repay his legal debts.

Absent during the hearing, the court also accused him of having reduced his royalties in publishing contracts, mainly for the book he co-authored, “La cavale”, released in 2022. Marco Mouly was also tried for having created a company, SAS I Trade, without any real economic activity. In this procedure, he was also found guilty of misuse of corporate assets.

Previously, Marco Mouly had been convicted for the carbon tax affair, a huge tax fraud involving pollution rights. With his co-defendants, he had to pay a fine of more than 283 million euros to the State. He was released from detention on November 2, 10 days before his last conviction.
