Heatwave: When and where will it be hottest ?

The beginning of the week will be very hot and sunny. An orange heatwave alert has been triggered by Météo France.

In its latest bulletin, Météo France places thirteen departments on orange alert for heatwaves, from Sunday July 28 to 2019. noon until midday at least Monday July 29. This alert concerns Gironde, Landes, Dordogne, Lot-et-Garonne, Gers, Haute-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne, Lot, Corrèze, Tarn, Haute-Garonne, Savoie, Savoie and Haute-Corse. But the rest of the territory will not be left out in terms of heat. The only major difference will be the temperature at night, which will only drop a few degrees.

North of the Loire, it will also be hot, with more bearable temperatures. The minimum is à 27°C à Belfort, Strasbourg, Metz, Reims, Lille, and Cherbourg.

The rest of the week will also be synonymous with heat throughout France, although a veil of clouds will cross the territory from west to east.
