We've been waiting for months for the release of L’amour ouf. This is Gilles Lellouche’s second film and the project seemed wildly ambitious and promising. Of course, L’amour ouf was presented in official competition at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. This feature film presents itself as a great, ultra-violent musical love story, with several eras and temporalities that constantly cross and recross.
Inspired by the novel by Neville Thompson, L’amour ouftakes us to the heart of the passionate relationship between Jackie and Clotaire, from the moment they met in the 80s in the north of France. Although everything sets them apart and life continually tries to separate them, their love is so strong, so “phew”, that nothing works. They are like the two ventricles of the same heart.
The feature film promises to take viewers through an avalanche of emotions for 2 hours and 40 minutes, between violence and tenderness. The viewers and the press are delighted, giving them 4.2 and 3.2 out of 5 respectively, some even calling it a real cinematic slap in the face. The direction and the acting (Adèle Exarchopoulos, François Civil, Mallory Wanecque, Malik Frikah, Alain Chabat) are acclaimed from all sides. This is the must-see release of the week!
Exit handkerchiefs, The Wild Robot is the animated film of the moment. Following a shipwreck, the ROZZUM 7134 unit ends up on a desert island. “Roz” must then learn to adapt to this new hostile environment and gradually forms relationships with the animals on the island. The robot discovers all his humanity when he crosses paths with an orphaned baby bird who mistakes him for its mother.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000The wild robotis a touching and emotional epic and stands out as DreamWorks' new gem. Graphically, it is flawless. The feature film also benefits from careful, intelligent and poetic writing, as well as thrilling staging. It is difficult not to get attached to this wild robot… The spectators are particularly excited and give it an average of 4.4 out of 5. On the press side, it is positive, but a little more mixed, with a score of 3.8.
With Miséricorde, direction a small village in Aveyron. And strange things happen When Jérémie returns to Saint-Martial to attend the funeral of his former baker boss, he spends a few days with his widow, Martine. Mysterious disappearance, threatening neighbor, priest with strange intentions… The return of Jérémie will not be easy.
The director Alain Guiraudie (Stranger by the Lake) delivers an intriguing feature film that does not leave you indifferent. Black comedy, thriller… The film plays on several tables and there is reason to rejoice. The press is cheerful with the score of 3.9 out of 5. As for the spectators, they are a little more temperate with a score of 3.5 out of 5.
Press and spectators, The story of Souleymane made everyone agree: 4.1 out of 5. The feature film was doubly rewarded at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival (Best Actor Award and Un Certain Regard Award) and touches film buffs. The story of Souleymane. It's all in the title. Boris Lojkine's film follows Souleymane Sangaré, a bicycle delivery man on the streets of Paris who is due for his asylum interview in 48 hours. He repeats a story over and over again in order to pass it and obtain papers, a symbol of hope and a change of life.
If Souleymane's story is so appealing, it is thanks to the performance of Abou Sangaré, who is acting in front of a camera for the very first time. The actor shows incredible accuracy, his story being very close to that of the protagonist, which reinforces the realism and emotion of the feature film.
