This is definitely one of the most anticipated films in theaters. After more than two decades, sequel to the acclaimed Gladiatordoes well. Sixteen years after the death of Marcus Aurelius, the twin emperors Geta and Caracalla reign terror over Rome. Far away, Hanno's country is attacked by the troops of General Acacius. After witnessing the death of his wife in the assault, he is taken prisoner of war and must now play for his life in the arena as a gladiator. But Hanno is not just anyone…
Carried by Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal and Connie Nielsen, Gladiator II is impressive and spectacular, although it strongly needs to rely on the first opus to seduce. If you want to take in the sights, it’s time to get back in the arena.

If you like animated movies, you're in luck. After The Wild Robot and Flow, the Cat Who Was No Longer Afraid of Water, it is the film The Most Precious Merchandise that captures the hearts of spectators. With a score of 4 by the press and 4.1 by AlloCiné spectators, this animated film seduces.
Presented at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, The Most Precious Merchandisetakes us to meet a poor lumberjack and a poor lumberjack woman, assailed by cold, hunger, poverty and war. But everything changes for them when the poor lumberjack woman takes in a baby, thrown from a train crossing the woods, and the couple will try to protect this child at all costs. A story that will reveal the worst as well as the best of the human heart.
Powerful, moving, overwhelming… The most precious of goods invites you to get out your tissues.
Tissues are also welcome with Here: The Best Years of Our Lives. In this new film, Robert Zemeckis reunites Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. This adaptation of Richard McGuire's graphic novel aims to present the entire history of humanity through a single fixed shot. Time, eras, characters… Everything passes. Released on tiptoe, Here is nevertheless worth the detour. At least, that is what the French press and AlloCiné viewers think, giving it a score of 3.6 and 3.5 out of 5, respectively.
For the needs of the film, Robert Zemeckis relied on artificial intelligence. His goal: ? To make Tom Hanks and Robin Wright younger, but also to make them older. An ambitious but above all very touching film.

How to miss The Substance ? This is the movie everyone is talking about! Having won the award for best screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival last May, this film is the sensation of the moment. On the menu ? Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley in a striking genre film where “body horror” is king.
At 50, Elisabeth Sparkle’s professional opportunities are fewer and fewer. In her profession where image is essential, she is preferred to younger and prettier women. But she is going to discover a new product promising her a better version of herself, younger, more beautiful, more perfect. If only it were that simple… AlloCiné viewers are particularly enthusiastic, giving The Substance a score of 3.8 out of 5. The press, more moderate, is content with 3.6. Among the film’s critics, many are those who speak of a “real slap”.
Reality TV is definitely interesting. First with the release of the series Culte on Prime Video then with that of the film Diamant Brut, in theaters since Wednesday, November 20.
In official competition at the Cannes Film Festival, Diamant Brutis Agathe Riedinger's first feature film and it has not gone unnoticed. Coming from a modest family, settled in Fréjus, Liane is 19 years old and has only one idea in mind: to become a star. She sees reality TV as her chance to be loved and adored. To become someone. When she goes to a casting for Miracle Island, her life could well (finally) change.
Diamant Brut promises a magnificent portrait, of unfailing accuracy, of a young girl with a fiery temperament obsessed with her beauty and social networks. The young actress Malou Khebizi steals the show.
