Apple is a hit in the smartphone, tablet, smartwatch and wireless earbuds markets. On the other hand, the company has failed to establish itself in the market for connected home devices, where it faces tough competition from Google and Amazon. However, Apple has not yet given up on its ambitions in this area. And apparently, for next year, he is preparing a series of new products for the house.

Smart Home: Apple Products in the Works

In a recently published article, our colleagues at 9to5Mac have gathered the various information on Apple's plans for the smart home, which were published by Mark Gurman, a journalist at Bloomberg. As a reminder, Gurman is one of the most reliable sources of unofficial information on future Apple products. And among the future products mentioned by this journalist, there is a smart screen.

Apple already offers speakers that can interact with Siri. However, unlike Google and Amazon, the company does not offer a connected display for the home. But apparently, the first Apple connected display could arrive in 2025. This product should be similar to Google's Nest Hub and Amazon's Echo Show. In addition to offering a way to entertain yourself, via its screen, this product should mainly serve as a control center for other connected devices.

In addition to this, Apple could also launch a new version of its Apple TV 4K. And according to 9to5Mac, this new version could include support for Apple Intelligence, a more powerful chip (A18 or 17), and use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips designed by Apple.

Finally, there are also rumors circulating about a new HomePod mini connected speaker. But, as usual, since this information does not come from an official source, caution is advised for the moment. In any case, it is possible that with the arrival of Apple Intelligence, Apple's strategy has changed.

  • Apple is struggling to establish itself in the market for connected devices for the home
  • But in 2025, the company would offer a new range of products, including a connected screen similar to Google's Nest Hub and Amazon's Echo Show
  • The company could also offer a new version of the Apple TV 4K, which could support Apple Intelligence
