Apple pulled out all the stops at the WWDC conference by presenting Apple Intelligence. In essence, it's a set of generative AI-powered features for iPhone, iPad, and Mac that includes a better version of Siri, ChatGPT integration, and a host of other features. ultra-practical. Indeed, on its site, Apple indicates that Apple Intelligence will be beta tested this fall, on the iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia versions of its platforms. And for starters, Apple Intelligence will only be available on devices that use American English as their language. In addition, these new AI features will only be compatible with a very limited number of iPhones.

Other languages available in 2025

In other words, on smartphones, only the A17 Pro chip of the iPhone 15 Pro and the ’ iPhone 15 Pro Max is capable of handling Apple Intelligence features. On Mac, on the other hand, all models using Apple Silicon chips are compatible. And as a result, iPads that use M1 or newer chips are also able to run Apple's new AI features.

Otherwise, regarding languages, Apple says additional languages will be supported by Apple Intelligence over the next year. However, the firm does not specifically mention the French language.
