Homeless man killed in Lyon: a suspect under OQTF, suspected of being a serial killer

The body of a homeless man has & was discovered on Monday in Lyon. The suspect was arrested in Toulon: investigators believe they have caught a serial killer.

The discovery of a body found with violent injuries to the head in the center of Lyon on Monday quickly put the police on the trail of a man suspected of serial murders. This is what Le Parisien tells us, which reports the violence of this presumed murder committed on this homeless person in Lyon with a concrete block. A video surveillance camera had filmed this man violently beating him head.

According to AFP, the suspect was arrested on a train near Toulon yesterday, following coordination between French law enforcement and Rotterdam police. In this large Dutch city, a homeless man was also violently attacked on the night of November 4 to 5, using a clearly similar modus operandi.

Le Parisien, citing a police source, indicates that the suspect is of Cameroonian nationality and is under OQTF (obligation to leave French territory). This man is suspected of being a very active murderer, the latest information collected by Le Parisien journalists from investigators suggests believe that the man could be behind three other murders in Evry, Strasbourg and Dijon. An investigation has been opened in France for murder.
