Homeless people killed with cinder blocks in France: the suspect, alleged serial killer, is questioned

The body of A homeless man was discovered on Monday in Lyon. The suspect was arrested in Toulon: investigators believe they have caught a serial killer.

The case could be one of the most sordid in recent years, given the violence of the suspect's actions. French and Dutch police services are currently working together on the trail of murders committed on homeless people, killed with building bricks. The discovery of a body found violently bruised on the head, in the center of Lyon, on Monday, has accelerated the first police investigations concerning a man suspected of serial murders. This is what we learn from Le Parisien, which reports the violence of an alleged murder committed on this homeless man, in Lyon, with a concrete block. A video surveillance camera had filmed this man violently hitting him on the head.

According to AFP, the suspect was arrested on a train near Toulon on Tuesday evening, following coordination between French law enforcement and Rotterdam police. In this large Dutch city, a homeless man was also violently attacked on the night of November 4 to 5, using a clearly similar modus operandi. The suspect is suspected of to be a very active murderer, the latest information gathered by Le Parisien journalists from investigators suggests that the man could be behind three other murders in Evry, Strasbourg and Dijon. The investigation was opened in France for murder.

Le Parisien, which cites a police source, indicates that the suspect is of Cameroonian nationality, and that he is under OQTF (obligation to leave French territory). The individual is said to have left the Netherlands by train last week, for Belgium before going to Lyon this Monday, still using the railways.
