If you have already made an appointment with the hairdresser, in a beauty salon and/or even with the barber, then you are definitely familiar with the Planity platform. Launched in 2017 by Antoine Puymirat and his associates, Planity is an online booking platform dedicated to beauty professionals. Because yes, Planity is “made in France“.

Planity 45 million euros, and prepares its conquest of Europe!

After raising funds of 30 million euros in 2021, the start-up does it again, this time with a funding round which allows Planity to raise 45 million euros. Among the partners, we find InfraVia Capital Partners, as well as historical shareholders Crédit Mutuel Innovation, Revaia and Bpifrance Digital Venture.

Available in France (but also in Belgium and Germany), Planity allows more than 10 million appointments to be made each month in just a few clicks, and at any time of the day .

The platform allows salons to benefit from significant visibility, without forgetting some useful options, such as the valuable SMS reminder. Enough to allow, according to Planity, salons to see a 16% increase in their turnover after one year of use.

In total, more than 40,000 establishments use Planity, including 2,000 in Germany and 1,000 in Belgium. A success thanks to which Planity reached 40 million euros in annual recurring revenue in 2023, a figure increasing by 60% compared to the previous year. From 2025, the platform intends to conquer the south of Europe.

This new fundraising of 45 million euros will allow Planity to continue the development of its product, but also to make possible acquisitions and invest in new verticals. The company plans in particular to invest in the well-being and fitness sectors, by offering the possibility of booking group classes.

Added to this is the recruitment of 300 new employees in 2024 (salespeople, developers), but also the development of a brand new conversational AI to manage calls and make appointments you by phone. This should also allow customers to collect bank card payments using their mobile phone.
