Posting on Instagram may have become unfashionable (we refuse to hear it), but the social network is now a fully-fledged messaging service. It took a while for Meta to understand this, but it's here. First launched as a photo-sharing platform in 2010, Instagram is now much more than that. Next year, the app is expected to account for more than 50% of its parent company, Meta,’s advertising revenue. We’re talking about $32 billion, all the same…
During the holiday season, it’s customary to send each other messages to wish each other a Merry Christmas (which you’ve probably already done) and to send your best wishes for the New Year. If you want to be among the first to wish your loved ones a Happy New Year without getting worked up or ruining your New Year’s Eve, just think about scheduling your messages. On Instagram, the feature has just been added. You might as well take advantage of it! Here’s how to schedule your Happy New Year messages on Instagram.
The addition of the message scheduling feature on Instagram is proof that the social network is now considered a messaging app like any other. Organizing and scheduling your messages is child's play. Enough to make your life easier for the new year.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000To do this, you simply have to write your message to the person of your choice. Once this is done, you have to long press on the send button (you know, the icon on the right when you write your message). This is where the magic happens: all you have to do is schedule your message for the date and time of your choice. Bingo. All you have to do is click on “Send such date at such time”.
So, to program your wishes, you must choose the date of Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at midnight and some trifles. And not January 1, 2025 at midnight (because this choice does not exist). If you have any doubts, you have the confirmation that your message will indeed be sent on January 1 at 00:02 (for example) when you program it.

Once your message is scheduled, it will be notified and you can check the scheduled messages. Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit them. So, in case of a mistake, it will have to repeat the operation. We imagine that Instagram will fix this little detail in the coming months. At least, we hope so. You have the opportunity to delete your scheduled message or to send it immediately if you are in a hurry.
