According to BFM Tech, it all started on September 3rd when tickets went on sale for the preview (which will often be held on Friday evening). Ticketing platforms have literally collapsed under the crowds and technical problems have been noted.

Contacted by our colleague, the manager of the Amphi cinema in Vienne in Isère testifies to the fact that all the seats were gone in 20 minutes. So much so that she decided to open a second room:

As we have seen in the past, some criticism has been heard about Inoxtag's initiative to climb Everest. Interviewed by France Info, mountaineer François Damilano acknowledges a form of ” snobbery “ or even ” sectarianism ” in this environment that sometimes has ” an extremely condescending look towards people who dream of reaching these great summits and who throw themselves into them wholeheartedly “.

Concerning the French videographer, he noticed that practitioners were divided around his initiative :

Who decides on the legitimacy of being a mountaineer ? Why would I, as a high mountain guide or mountaineering performer, be more legitimate than’Inoxtag to go to Everest?

But the content creator turned to professionals and trained for a year with humility and seriousness. “So when he went to Everest, he was much more prepared than most of the contenders who are lined up on summit day”, he concludes.
