The show Télématin celebrates its 40th anniversary this Thursday, February 6 on France 2. The opportunity to bring back the familiar faces who participated in the show… and for these last to send a few little barbs.
Happy birthday! It's this Thursday, February 6th that Télématin celebrates its 40th anniversary and France 2 intends to mark the occasion. On this occasion, the channel has brought back many people who have participated in the show over the years. It must be said that, as Télé Loisirs, no fewer than 15 presenters followed one another for four decades to host this morning program, as well as about twenty substitutes and about sixty columnists. A great crowd, some of whom came to celebrate this milestone event on the small screen.
The special show on February 6 was hosted by Maya Lauqué, Flavie Flament, Julien Arnaud and Damien Thévenot. And a host of former columnists came on the set, including Thomas Sotto and Marie Portolano. As a reminder, the duo hosted Télématin for a while before Marie Portolano left due to her pregnancy. However, some rumors about tensions that could have existed between them have circulated, and an exchange that took place during this anniversary broadcast could well fuel them.

After assuring Damien Thévenot that yes, she misses her “TV husband” , Marie Portolano had the pleasure of finding him on a screen live from the RTL studios. And the latter wasted no time in immediately asking him about his news, and also about “Mr. Mignon”.
For context, Marie Portolano explains that “Mr. Mignon, it's my son who wasn't sleeping during Télématin. And who still isn't sleeping” she replies to Thomas Sotto. Although he is far from the Télématin set, the latter then emphasizes that he still watches the show every morning and that he continues to talk with Marie Portolano away from the cameras. Enough to confirm that the team of this cult show is “a big family”.
The host then takes the time to thank all the people who have contributed to the show for 40 years, even behind the cameras. Because if Télématin has been broadcast for all this time, it is also thanks to the dozens of technicians, cameramen, directors, producers, hairdressers etc. “Without them, we are conductors without an orchestra” underlines Thomas Sotto to the approval of his colleagues.
