IN BRIEF

  • Louis Sarkozy launches into politics
  • This Wednesday, December 18 , the Quotidien teams went to meet him
  • But Nicolas Sarkozy's son kicked in touch when it was a question of responding to François Bayrou

For a few months now, Louis Sarkozy, the son of the former President of the Republic, is very present in the media. So much so that the young man decided to go into politics. This Wednesday, December 18, the Quotidien teams then followed him to a meeting where he was able to meet supporters of the Republicans .

But for the journalist on the show presented by Yann Barthès, the question was completely different: “Do you, like your father, reproach François Bayrou for having called for a vote for Hollande in 2012 ?”, he asks

Louis Sarkozy dodges the issue regarding the Bayrou government

Visibly annoyed with this question, Louis Sarkozy dodges the issue: “Oh the questions, élisten… I'm not here to talk about çthat. I'm here to talk to the young LR, there are a lot of them here, there is an éenergy, I was delighted to speak to them”, he says, tired of being asked questions about domestic political life.

However, he hopes that François Bayrou will manage to form a government and that things will get back to normal little by little: “I wish him every possible and unimaginable success. What do you want me to tell him? ? That I wish him defeat. ? In our times, with our problems. It's like wishing the pilot in the airliner you're on to fail and defeat.

Nicolas Sarkozy's son's plans

And there's no question of Louis Sarkozy giving in to criticism. “Whatever I do, I'll have the right to this trial. If I opened a shack at fries on Place de Clichy, I would be reproached the same way. […] I chose to be born Sarkozy ?”, he asks during an interview for Le Figaro.

Nicolas Sarkozy's son no longer wants to hear that he is the son of. “What do you want me to do ? I was lucky enough to live in privileged conditions and I am aware of it. That's not what annoys the French. What annoys the French is lying about who you are and what you think. That's pretty clear. Louis Sarkozy will do everything he can to achieve his projects and too bad for his detractors.
