A physical transformation assumed

The return of Bref was unexpected. However, from February 14, 2025, the cult series will be available again on Disney+. For this season 2, Kyan Khojandi did not want to settle for a simple revival. He wanted to embody his character with total realism. In an interview with Parisien, he revealed that he had gained 10 kilos and let his hair grow to give a new dimension to his role.

“I gained 10 kg, I let my hair grow“, he confided. This choice is not insignificant. The actor wanted to reflect the evolution of the character and show that he had gone through difficult times. “I wear looser clothes, the ones I wear when I'm a little unhappy...”, he added.

A total immersion in the role

The announcement of this sequel immediately sparked public enthusiasm. In short, broadcast for the first time in 2011 on Canal+, had marked a generation with its short and impactful format. This new season, whose episodes will last up to 40 minutes, promises to offer a different experience while retaining the DNA of the series.

Bérengère Krief, who played Marla, will also be back. In the show En Apart on Canal+, she returned to her experience in Bref. “Çit sexualized me a lot, so it was quite strange for me“, she confessed while recalling her role as “regular sex buddy” of the main character.
