“I want to warn those…”: a bit provocative, Pierre Arditi gives some acidic news about his state of health

Thursday, January 9, the famous French actor Pierre Arditiwas one of the guests of C à vous, presented by Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine. He was alongside Ludmila Mikaël. The two actors are currently in the middle of promoting their new play. Entitled Le Prix, it will be performed at the H&eacutebertot theater in Paris, at from January 22.

If the show was an opportunity for the actor to talk about his 74th play, he spoke about his state of health. Between cynicism and humor, he wanted to set the record straight.

Pierre Arditi affirms that he is fine

It has been several months since Pierre Arditi last appeared on stage. 273 days exactly (as of the date of the show). A time that he characterizes as “too long”. Indeed, as Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine estimates, in 60 years of career the actor spent approximately 5,920 days on stage. “One day out of three!” says the host.

Following this “long” absence, Pierre Arditi finally returns to the stage. And first of all, he finds it important to state thathe is doing very well. “I would like to warn moreover, for those who do not know yet, that I am in great shape. Now when people meet me, they say to me: “çit was nice to see you “oh how çare you doing ?” Çare you doing !” he said, slapping his hand on the table. His ironic tone made all the columnists laugh. Mohamed Bouhafsi also retorted “We didn't ask you anythingé Pierre”. This &agrave to which the actor replied “No but I feel that çit's coming”.

What were Pierre Arditi's health problems ?

If this question seems to be on everyone's lips, it is no coincidence. Indeed, Evelyne Bouix's husband recently faced several health problems. In September 2023, the actor suffered a vasovagal malaise on stage. He was in the middle of a performance of the play Lapin, which he was performing at the Édouard VII theater in Paris. He had been hospitalized very briefly.

A few weeks later, the phenomenon happened again, this time before a show. Following these two events, Pierre Arditi was forced to take a rest, a “forced vacation”. Despite these two ailments, he does not seem ready to put an end to his career. He says: “This is the life I chose”.
