Les trois points sont importants à prendre pour Océane Deslandes. Midi Libre – JEAN-MICHEL MART
In the Arkema Premier League, the Montpellier Hérault players will host Fleury for the last match of the year (Saturday, 5 p.m.). Coach Yannick Chandioux and defender Océane Deslandes presented the stakes of this match during the pre-match conference on Friday, December 13.
What is your analysis of your last trip to Dijon (4-2 defeat)? ?
Yannick Chandioux : Too bad, we fell back a little bit against a quality opponent. Good individuals up front and a strong midfield. We were too timid in our play and they took advantage of it. We conceded two goals quickly, but in the second half we looked for solutions and created very clear chances to get back into the game.
Océane Deslandes: until now we hadn't conceded many goals, we were keen to be strong at the back, which wasn't the case. It's still a football match, they caused us a lot of problems on the pitch, they're a good team.
How do you approach tomorrow's match against Fleury ?
Y. C.:Last year, Fleury finished one point ahead of us in the standings, we have always been close in recent seasons. We have more often had good results at Fleury and bad ones when they came to Grammont, I hope that we will be able to reverse this situation, that we will perform well. We will try to take three points and validate this progression with the changes made during the off-season. The group is doing well, we have to validate the first part of the season with a victory before going on vacation. When we go on vacation, we try to leave liberated with this idea of duty accomplished. If we win tomorrow, we will have a positive balance sheet, but if we were to have a poor performance, the balance sheet would be a little more mixed.
O. D.:Tomorrow's victory is important, we had a good start to the season, with some great victories at home against direct competitors. Losing tomorrow would spoil the first half of the season a bit, we really want to bring back these three points and go on holiday quietly for the second half of the season which will be very important.
The return of Faustine Robert to Grammont
Is the return of Faustine Robert (trained at MHSC, 84 matches and 31 goals in the orange and blue jersey) to Grammont special for you??
Y. C.: I think it's more significant for her, I always enjoy meeting former players again, without disrespecting her, we prepare to play the best possible match. We know her, I don't know if it's an advantage or a disadvantage, let's be focused and we'll see on the field tomorrow.
Océane, what is your view on your first part of the season and your status as a starter?
O.D.:My goal is to play every match, get a lot of playing time and perform. I work hard in training and off the field, I put all the assets on my side. This year, it's working well but my education means that I don't rest on my laurels, I'm a hard worker. My goal is to go even higher, I have a lot of goals.
