IN BRIEF

  • Cyril Hanouna is waiting for the radio audience results for November and December 2024, particularly for his show 'On marche sur la tête'.
  • Despite his apparent stress, the signs suggest that the audiences will be good, with Europe 1 showing strong growth.
  • Find out if Cyril Hanouna will continue to shine on the airwaves despite the television uncertainty.

Cyril Hanouna is counting down the hours. Like every two months, it's time for anxietyfor the host of Touche pas à mon poste. Like other stars of the airwaves, he is waiting for the official publication of the radio audience results for the months of November and December 2024. And in particular the scores achieved by his show, On marche sur la tête.

It is also with this subject that he began his show this Wednesday, January 8. Aviator sunglasses on his nose and before even introducing his team, Cyril Hanouna immediately put the audiences on the table. “We'll have the numbers tomorrow, the audience figures. I have no idea yet what that means. If it's good, we'll say so. If it's not good, we'll say that too!”, warned the host.

“It's like a test at school…”

But according to Gauthier Le Bret, Cyril Hanouna would know more than he wants to say for the moment… The reason ? His outfit of the day. “The day before the hearings, you always have to watch Cyril's arrival at the Europe 1 editorial office, joked the columnist. If there are sunglasses, a jacket… if we notice him when he enters the editorial office, it's a good sign. I feel like things are going in the right direction.”

Hiding a laugh, Cyril Hanouna did not comment on the departure of his “favorite”. And preferred to calm things down. “For now, I'm waiting. You know, it's like a test at school: you can be sure of yourself and you get a 2/20. I'm stressed! Yes, I'm stressed“, he admitted. However, according to information from Le Parisien, the host has no reason to be anxious.

Cyril Hanouna should pop the champagne

Far ahead of France Inter, Europe 1 would make a spectacular leap in ratings. Thanks to the “success of Dimitri Pavlenko, Pascal Praud and Cyril Hanouna”, according to our colleagues, “the radio is taking off with 2.7 million French people every day”. Very good figures for Europe 1 since it attracted “470,000 more (listeners) than last year at the same time and a level it had not reached since the beginning of 2021!”

In detail, we do not yet know the number of curious people who listen to Cyril Hanouna every day on the radio. But seeing his radiant face on the eve of publication, it would seem that they are there! Enough to please the host of Touche pas à mon poste, whose television future has been uncertain since the scheduled end of C8. Will his future be solely on the airwaves ?
