An exceptional career… On August 15, 2004, at just 17 years old, Laure Manaudou won the 400-meter freestyle at the Athens Olympic Games.She then became the second French Olympic swimming champion after Jean Boiteux in 1952. The high-level athlete then won two other medals in these Games: silver in the 800-meter freestyle and bronze in the 100-meter backstroke. His little brother, Florent Manaudou, is also an Olympic swimming champion.

Thursday, January 16, 2025, on the set of En Apart, on Canal+, Philippe Lucas' former protégé declared : “Seeing my brother win at a time when I had already had my daughter… I said to myself: 'I'm going to take it back to accompany my brother to the Olympic Games. If he ever needs me for something other than swimming'… That is to say spend some time and get him out of stress and enjoy… Me, I was there for …that anyway.
