Cloudflare also mentions a trend, which it had already observed in 2022 and 2023. During the first half of the year, traffic stagnated. 200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000Cloudflare’s data also shows a surge in Starlink’s global traffic as the company continues its global rollout. In fact, Starlink’s global traffic has reportedly increased 3.3 times. Cloudflare also points to dramatic growth in the satellite service in some countries.
“In many places, there is pent-up demand for “alternative” connectivity providers such as Starlink, and in these countries/regions, we see rapid traffic growth when the service becomes available, such as in Zimbabwe. The service was announced on September 7, and traffic from the country began to increase rapidly almost immediately thereafter,” Cloudflare says.
Also, this growth can continue after Starlink launches in a country. For example, while it has been available in Malawi since July 2023, Starlink traffic in that country has increased another 38x in 2024.
