Ce mardi soir, lors de la soirée de présentation des Rencontres de l’immobilier. Midi Libre – M. A.

To present the Rencontres de l’immobilier, a trade fair that will take place this Saturday, December 7 at the Polygone, Nicolas Gossart, Marin Laval and Laurent Jeannin have imagined a very well-attended and successful evening that gave the floor to investors who have bet on Béziers. Objective: to show all the potential of the territory.

In the charming lair of the private mansion located at 26 allées Paul-Riquet, more than a hundred people rushed, this Tuesday, December 3, to attend the presentation evening of the new edition of the Rencontres de l’immobilier, which will take place on Saturday, December 7.

This unique evening was designed as an “afterwork” event hosted by Nicolas Gossart, Marin Laval and Laurent Jeannin, the three Béziers acolytes who have been at the head of the association that has been organizing the show for the past ten years. At the microphone, facing the real estate powerhouses of the area, Marin Laval, director of the Daure agency, explained: “Until now, we've been hosting a somewhat sad press conference. So we wanted to liven up the event by introducing people who believe in Béziers.” The aim of the evening was to remind people of the principle of the Rencontres but also to highlight the full potential of Béziers through timed speeches by around ten speakers, “witnesses”, investors, professionals or individuals who have invested in the city and its surroundings. Everyone has two minutes to “pitch” their project.

An international investor has bought 12 run-down buildings in Béziers

“Originally from Alsace, Paris, Toulouse… They came with their savings and found Béziers as their home port.” Thus, the architect Olivier Marty, owner of the private mansion at number 26, recounted this beautiful rehabilitation. Just like Olivier Margerat, who came from the Paris region to renovate the Villa Rey, or Mona Zogbi who, after several acquisitions, has just set up a Lebanese catering business in the new market halls of Béziers… Thomas Langlois, who is renovating the Ostals in the heart of the city, also spoke, as well as Candy Miller and Charles Teboul (Maison Jullian) and even an international businessman, Aksel Piran, through a video. The latter explained that he had bought 12 run-down buildings to transform them into accommodation dedicated to short-term rentals such as AirBnB…

“It's a great demonstration”

“It's a great demonstration that our city is reaching maturity to welcome new arrivals with added value”, explains Nicolas Gossart, who runs Maisons Bic and Bic Rénovation. “It's an area where it's still time to invest, where it's still affordable and easy. Old, new: we have all the cards in hand for the Béziers area to stand out, to raise the quality, speculative and art of living level.” And to highlight the rise in power of a district like the one of the halles renovated by the municipality. “It's a locomotive and behind it there are private investments” in many properties around.

With this momentum, despite a rather difficult general economic situation, the organizers are continuing their momentum according to the principle that has driven them for 10 years: “Get out of the office and go to people.” There is no doubt that this Saturday, a few weeks before Christmas, visitors will be there at the Polygone.
