InZoi: The Sims competitor announces an open beta coming soon

If the Sims recently announced that a fifth opus would never see the light of day, InZoi, its big competitor, finally makes a release date official. A news that already sets his community ablaze.

Only a few months left before you can get your hands on < em>InZoi, the game that the developers at Krafton have been refining for almost two years. Today, being unable to do anything but settle for the Sims 4, which accumulates paid DLCs sometimes full of bugs and problems, eacute;ception, players can't wait to turn to its first competitor, which will soon be released worldwide. 60~/p>

Thanks to its remarkable potential, InZoi has benefited since its official announcement from the fervor of the public, who tremble with impatience in the face of this new life simulation game. Scheduled to be released worldwide at the end of 2024, Krafton studios have finally made the decision to delay access to their video game jewel.

A release date slightly pushed back

The official release date, now extended to March 28, 2025, is a wonderful way to usher in spring. Although the community is frustrated at having to wait several more months, the news is greeted with relative cheerfulness among players. Indeed, Krafton proves that it is working seriously on its project by taking the risk of pushing back the deadline rather than serving up a poorly finished and indigestible draft.

Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim, the game's producer and director, justified the game's delay with a long message to fans around the world from InZoi: “It is said that among primates, raising a human child to adulthood takes the longest time, as humans must be prepared to endure and adapt to their ever-changing environment. The extra love and care it takes to properly nurture a child is how I see our journey with inZOI, a game we will nurture together from its birth in Early Access. This release date change represents our commitment to giving inZOI a more solid foundation, so that we can embark on this journey together in the best possible way."

Perfecting the final touches ofInZoi requires the development team to spend a few more months of work. The game's Early Access launch, scheduled for this spring, has the audience excited, probably tired of of Sims 4 and its dozens of bland DLCs.

However, only PC players will be able to welcome the future great life simulator on March 28. Krafton is working on a multiplatform game capable of addressing home consoles, but the end of the tunnel is still far away and we will probably have to wait a long time before seeing such measures put in place.

Notable performances

Running on the Unreal Engine 5, a powerful latest-generation game engine, InZoi presents promising graphic and technical quality. The play of light and reflection, the texture of the hair, the realism of the constructions… the gameplay and the immersion of the player in this life simulator make more than one dream. 

Not all PCs will necessarily be able to host such a game, especially since Krafton recommends at least 60 GB of available storage for its download.

Although still in the development stage, InZoi admirably manages to build a large community of fans, as intrepid as they are impatient. The game hasn't even been released yet and the community's support seems unwavering, support that is likely to grow even wider if the life simulator lives up to the ambitious promises it has set for itself.
