InZoi: What is this game with hyper-realistic graphics that aims to compete with The Sims ?

Unveiling At the end of 2023, inZoi is a new game in development which takes many of the mechanics of The Sims with sumptuous graphics.

In the world of life simulation games, it's hard to name a leader other than “The Sims”. The license, which seems to reign over the genre since its debut in the 2000s, is still waiting for its fifth installment for 2025 with already a promise of being free at launch (but surely accompanied by a plethora of additional downloadable content). The Sims series could however find a serious competitor with the upcoming release of inZoi.

InZoi is a life simulation game developed by the Krafton studio, which is notably responsible for “Player's Unknow Battleground” or more commonly called “PUBG”. All the elements of a “Sims like” are present in the first videos and presentation images of the title: character creation, relationships to manage, work to find, family to found, housing to buy and customize…

The biggest difference between inZoi and The Sims is definitely the graphics. Là où The Electronic Arts series is still very much into “cartoon” characters, the Krafton studio offers a title with ultra-advanced graphics with characters close to reality.

Graphics that can also be tested until August 26 since the creation of the game's characters is in free demo on the Steam platform. You will be able to create your own “Zoi” in order to use them in the final game at its release.

InZoi was unveiled at the Korean G-Star 2023 show and does not have a specific release date. Krafton studio still hopes to release the game by sometime in 2024, but that seems very ambitious given that the latter is already well underway.
