How to install iOS 18 beta 1 ?

If, despite the risk of bugs, you are still interested in the iOS 18 beta, here is a tutorial to install it on your iPhone. The first step is to create an account on Apple's public beta site. Once the account is created, you will be able to go to your iPhone's settings, then to the update and finally to the ” beta update ” subcategory.

You will then need to select the iOS 18 public beta option. After a few seconds of waiting, the update should appear on the screen. You can then click on the ” download and install ” as with all updates that are manually launched on an iPhone.

What features ?

As I said above, iOS 18 is mainly interesting for its features related to artificial intelligence. Unfortunately, they are only available on a very limited number of devices. While waiting for the release of the iPhone 16, only the 15 Pros and 15 Pros Max have enough power to run Apple Intelligence.

For all other devices, you will have to do without. iOS 18 will then be an update like the others, bringing several features, including customization within the control center. The new operating system also allows you to change the color of the icons on the home screen, a feature that has long been a hallmark of Android.
