Iran warned on Thursday that it would respond “brutally” to an Israeli attack on Iranian military installations on Saturday, saying Israel would “regret” it, local media reported.
“The recent action of the Zionist regime, which attacked parts of our country, was a desperate act, and the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond in a brutal manner that will make Israel regret,” said Mohammad Mohammadi Golpayegani, a senior adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to the Tasnim news agency.
