WhatsApp developers have just announced the ability to change the color of the application's interface. However, not all users will be able to take advantage of it.
WhatsApp may have many features and updates, but its users regularly ask for one particular addition: customization. The application is certainly functional and practical, but it clearly lacks options to personalize your experience and have conversations as beautiful as you want.
Fortunately, WhatsApp developers are aware of this and are regularly working on adding customization options. After adding chat wallpapers (which can be found by selecting the three little dots on a WhatsApp conversation), the application will soon have a new feature to customize the colors of chats. Currently, 20 different colors are available, including shades of green, blue, and pink.

To be able to enjoy these “chat themes”, as the application calls them, there are unfortunately conditions to be met. You must have the latest beta version of WhatsApp. However, the developers limit the number of beta testers who can access this version, so you will also have to play luck and try to click on this link from time to time, until you get access to the beta.
Once you have access to WhatsApp beta (this is version 2.24.21.34), go to the application settings via the three small dots at the top of the screen if you are on Android. For the iPhone, you will have to wait for an official and stable version and go to the “settings” tab. Then find the “Discussions” section and you will find the “chat themes” option, where you will be able to select the color you want for your chat bubbles!
If the option still does not work, you must then deactivate “Side-by-side display” in the “Chats” section. At the moment, the two features unfortunately cannot work together, but a future update will certainly correct this! If you do not have the beta version of WhatsApp, do not panic. The update day 2.24.21.34 should be made available to everyone in a few weeks.
