Ce samedi 1er février 2025, le jeune Émilien, participant aux "12 coups de midi", a une nouvelle fois gagné et a ainsi franchi la barre des 2 millions d’euros.

“I have a hard time describing what it feels like.” Émilien has been taking part in the show “Les 12 coups de midi” presented by Jean-Luc Reichmann on TF1 for almost a year and a half. The young man has been winning one after another and this Saturday passed the two million euro mark. A record in the history of French television, indicates RTL.

The French record

“February 1, 2025 is a date that will not be forgotten”, indicated the presenter, adding that it was “unheard of”. Indeed, by adding a victory to his credit this Saturday, Émilien, who studies history in Toulouse, has further increased his prize money. It now reaches the colossal sum of 2,006,865 euros.

This is the biggest TV game show win in France. Will he be able to beat the world record? ? To do this, the Vendéen still has a little way to go since the biggest win is estimated at 6.6 million euros, according to the Guinness Book of Records.

“I have a hard time describing what it feels like”

But for now, Émilien is happy with his performance and his adventure on French television. “What just happened is what has been happening for almost a year and a half now, it's something exceptional. And then it's the passing of 2 million euros. I have trouble describing what it feels like, it's completely surreal”, he reacted to the show's microphone.

“It exceeds everything we could have hoped for, everything I could have hoped for. It's really… There you go, I don't have the words. The goal has always been the same since the beginning, that is to say that I enjoy playing every lunchtime, being there and as long as I can continue and if I can try to be there again tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, well I'll try to stay”, he said, with emotion, on the set.
