“I've had some serious health problems recently”

As he revealed to our colleagues, the actor suffered from lymphoma: “I don't think I'm the ugliest guy my age. Of course, I think I'm too fat, because I eat too much and I don't smoke anymore. I drink a lot less than before but I still allow myself a few glasses of red wine. I've never said it too much but I recently had serious health problems. A lymphoma, or cancer.If I am now cured – my doctors don't like me to use the word cured – I continue to êbe very followed”, he revealed.

This ordeal contributed to hardening the vulnerable little boy that he was weakened by his relationship with his parents. Adored by his mother and often rejected by his father, his childhood was marked by a lack of love: “It's stronger than me, I'm always ésurprised that artists I admire can like me. By the way, even my children consider me a child because I always get upset over trivialities,” he revealed.

Jacques Weber married for forty-four years

As for his private life, Jacques Weber is still living the perfect life with his wife Christine, whom he married in 1981. Together, they are the happy parents of three children. The couple met in a nightclub in Brittany during a nightclub party.

The actor had set up a strategy to seduce her. “I asked the owner of the club to lend me his room the next day just before opening. I spent the day painting posters and driving around in my car, a little to the circus way”, he confided nostalgically.
