Jean-Marie Le Pen died on Tuesday, January 7, at the age of 96. A politician who left his mark, a final tribute will be paid to him on Thursday, January 16. It is 11 am, in the Val-de-Grâce church in Paris that sympathizers will be entrusted to attend a public religious ceremony. However, beforehand, his relatives gathered for a ceremony in complete privacy, in La Trinité-sur-Mer. On the airwaves ofEurope 1this Monday, January 13, Cyril Hanouna wanted to come back to this day. Taking a lot of care, the host confided that the mass had been disrupted by a journalist. 

Cyril Hanouna had every intention of revealing more.  “Frankly, everyone has revealed his identity…”, said the host before continuing: “All the journalists gave the information, to know if we give it or not”. Without giving the identity of the main person concerned, the host continues: “But apparently she would be close to Gabriel Attal, that's what they say”.Guest on the show, Caroline Parmentier, RN MP for Pas-de-Calais and present at the funeral, provided some clarifications. She confided that she had asked a journalist to leave the premises before seeing her “among the guests with the mass booklet”.

Caroline Parmentier claims that it is a journalist from the media Le Monde. She thought the latter had left but eventually found her inside the church.She specifies that the ceremony had just begun but also that she immediately asked him to leave.  “The ceremony was reserved for the strict privacy family and close relatives,” she first recalls. However, the journalist would not have wanted to leave the premises. “I ask her to leave the church and she answers me 'no', taking advantage, I think, of the moment and counting on the fact that I was not going to cause a scandal”, continues Caroline Parmentier.

Caroline Parmentier specifies that he insisted with the journalist to ask her to leave in order to respect the family. “I took her back to where the journalists were, outside the church, and there I publicly yelled at her,” she said, before going on to discuss the comments she made. “I told her it was a disgrace, and that she had no decency, no dignity, no respect for the family and the grief of the family”, continues Caroline Parmentier who adds that the journalist did not apologize to Marine Le Pen.

In an article published directly on the site, the editorial staff provided clarifications. “Our journalist Ivanne Trippenbach, special correspondent to La Trinité-sur-Mer  has been the subject of a violent harassment campaign on social media since Saturday, January 11 afternoon, fueled by several untruths, the article begins. According to their statements, the head of the RN press service allegedly invited a small group of people who were standing in front of the church to enter, “because there were places left inside”. The article specifies that the person concerned identified herself to the latter.

The journalist therefore reported her presence, indicating who she was. However, a quarter of an hour later, she was asked to leave the premises. “Contrary to what continues to be said, our journalist did not take any photos or videos and had taken care to turn off his cell phone as soon as he entered”, the article specifies. The editorial staff then publicly brings to the journalist who, according to them, did nothing other than her job as a journalist, which consisted of tell this day”. That has the merit of being clear.
