- The presenter talks about his health, he who was victim of a double cardiac arrest
This Saturday, December 14, 2024, Jean-Pierre Foucault once again put on a show at the Miss France ceremony. And the host has been alongside beauty queens for 30 years.
Questioned on RTL, the presenter gave her opinion on the possible winner, before Angélique Angarni-Filopon was elected: “I may have a slight idea of the two or three who are in the running for the end, but I have been wrong for 30 years. I have never hit the nail on the head. When the bailiff gives me the envelope with the names of the finalists, I say to myself: ‘But you are wrong againé’”.

I once said that, if Miss Provence won, I would stop”.
But it is clear that it will not be this year. “When is this day ? You already have it in mind ?”the host Eric Dussart then asks him. This what Jean-Pierre Foucault answers: “As long as the insurance doctor tells me I can go, I'll go. It's not complicatedé”. It must be said that the host's recent health problems have worried his fans a lot.
A double heart attack for the host
Indeed, in April 2023, the host suffered a double cardiac arrest. “At the time, I wasn't scared, because I was fine. The cardiologist who arrived before the ambulance injected me morphine. When the fireman massaged me, I asked him: 'What are you doing ? I'm sleeping!' And he told me that I wasn't sleeping”, he told our colleagues at Télé Ciné Revue.
And today, Jean-Pierre Foucault is doing better: “I experienced this curious incident where you feel yourself going and I wasn't too bad. Even though I'm glad to be back,” he said, laughing. “I was remarkably well taken care of in Marseille. And I live again like before !”, he confides, very happy to have “lived one more year”. “It's still magnificent”. So, you will find Jean-Pierre Foucault again next year!
