Jeanine and René Rousseau meet to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary

It was a real moment of happiness and communion. These two Alésiens have just celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary.

They were very happy to celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary on Thursday, December 19. At Lou Cantou, the nursing home (EHPAD) at the Alès hospital in the Gard department, Jeanine Rousseau, aged 79 and unfortunately suffering from Alzheimer's disease, and her husband René, who is 83, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, having said “I do” on 19 December 1964.

She worked as a secretary in automobile technical inspection; he spent most of his professional life in the motorcycle industry.

These two Alès residents are already planning to meet up in ten years for their platinum wedding anniversary.
