Julien Testard, candidate for the 2026 municipal elections to give “new impetus” to the town of Poulx

He is known as a great sports enthusiast, but also as head of the municipal police in Marguerittes, recruited by Mayor Rémi Nicolas. But it is in Poulx, “his” village that he will present himself in March 2026 to the voters with the aim of driving a “New Poulxois momentum”. “Poulx is a village that is dear to me”, assures Julien Testard who recalls having worked there as a municipal police officer for 25 years.

A “solid” team already formed

“This commitment has allowed me to be close to the inhabitants, to their daily concerns, but also to their expectations for the future of a village that has grown considerably in a few years. Even if I no longer work there, I live there today because my attachment to this village is as strong as my Cévennes roots can be for the Gardois that I am.” Faced with these fourteen months separating him from the first round of the municipal elections, the municipal police officer announces that he has already worked on the constitution of a “solid, committed team already at work on a project: to give new impetus to Poulx”.

Several axes are priorities for Julien Testard: strengthening social ties for a “living together which will be our priority” ; preserving “the unique environment” of the town or even “guaranteeing the safety of property, people and public peace”.
