Yoann Gourcuff and Karine Ferri own two houses in France
As a couple since 2011, Yoann Gourcuff and Karine Ferri live their love story away from prying eyes. The couple who said yes in 2019 live in Brittany, far from the spotlight, with their three children, Maël (8 years old), Claudia (6 years old) and Sasha (1 year old). An obvious choice for the former footballer from Ploemeur (Finistère), where the small family has settled.
This haven of peace, – a beautiful white house “hidden in a thick forest of pines, oaks and beeches” according to The Team – allows Yoann Gourcuff and Karine Ferri an intimacy that the capital does not offer. “With Yoann, it's Brittany first and foremost and a visceral attachment to Ploemeur. It's something deep in him. This house allows him to live alone with his family and isolated, a close friend of the family confided to the sports media.

Perhaps this is why in 2020, Karine Ferri and Yoann Gourcuff decided to acquire a villa near Saint-Raphaël, in the Var. Still according to L'Equipe, the couple put their hands in their pockets for this residence, which would have cost no less than 4 million euros.
If the former footballer has a special connection with Brittany, the Var also counts for the couple since it is there that they got married in 2019. In addition, the host is rather fond of the area since she spent there “ all his youthful holidays”, as L’Equipe specifies. Everyone gets something out of it!
In the pages of Ouest France, in 2023, Yoann Gourcuff made rare confidences about his family life. “I take care of my two children, my wife regularly goes to Paris for her work. It takes time and requires organization. (…) I'm having a great time. I have no worries about say that I am a stay-at-home dad”, admitted the athlete.
Then added: “The days are very busy, but seeing my children grow up every day is a privilege. What's more, in a peaceful context. Here, we are not bothered. There is space, the sea, the beaches, the forests, the paths…”
