Michel Barnier's government has been overthrown. Indeed, after a vote of censure, the Prime Minister was forced to present his resignation to Emmanuel Macron. From now on, the President of the Republic will have to find a new head of government who will also have to appoint his ministers. And if Karine Le Marchand were to join the new ministers ?
This is a question that Thomas Sotto asked her on RTL this Thursday, December 5. “Hey, you know that we're looking for a government. Karine Le Marchand Minister of Agriculture ?”, he asked her. To which the famous host responded immediately tac: “So I don't have < strong>not at all the sense of diplomacy, I'll give you a civil war in two days”, she said dropped, before continuing: “It's no!”.

A remark confirmed by the M6 presenter: “We mustn't wait for politicians. We can clearly see that politicians have done absolutely nothing for years for agriculture”, explained the presenter. “Now, we have to take it on with the industry and distributors. So I created a petition that is growing quickly”, she indicated. “I've already been contacted by two major brands so I think things will change.”
Remember, a few months ago, when French farmers were on the streets, Karine Le Marchand gave them her support. And it's not over, since she has just launched a petition called “So that distributors help us save French agriculture”.
“I am speaking on behalf of all of us, citizens and consumers, to urgently ask distributors to provide concrete and lasting support to those who fill our plates”, she wrote in the description of this petition which has already been signed by thousands of French people. So even if she is not part of the new government, Karine Le Marchand wants to engage with farmers and not abandon them.
