Two little boys for whom a kidnapping alert had been triggered on Monday in the North have been found safe and sound, their father, suspected of being the perpetrator of the kidnapping, is still being sought, a source close to the case told AFP.

Nassim, 3, and Mohammed, 5, were found by police officers “in the street” on Monday evening near their father's home in Beuvrages, near Valenciennes, according to this source. They had been taken from their mother in Fourmies around 1:10 p.m. and the suspect had fled by car.
The father was finally arrested. “The suspect could be the father, a North African man, 1m65 tall, brown eyes, short black hair, a growing beard, aged 38, wearing a navy blue down jacket, black trousers and black trainers, a grey neck warmer”, the authorities warned early in the afternoon.
Kidnapping alert
The children disappeared around 1:10 p.m. in Fourmies, in the Nord department. According to our colleagues at TF1 Info, they were with their mother on the public highway when they were abducted.
