It was in September 2024 that Koba LaD caused a serious road accident, costing the life of his manager and friend William Dogbey, then aged 30. The rapper, under the influence of narcotics, had hit the back of a truck. But the artist is not at his first run-ins with the law. Indeed, this Monday, January 13, 2025, the singer was sentenced to 15 months in prison as part of a case of violence and kidnapping against his former manager Deuspi.

So, the artist already sees himself behind bars. Especially since he has not yet been judged for the serious road accident that cost his friend his life. And apparently, Wejdene, his partner, finds herself mixed up in this story.

Wejdene ignores calls from investigators

Indeed, since the accident, the young woman has not responded to police summonses nor to calls and messages left by the CRS motorway East &Ile-de-France. But according to our colleagues from Parisien, Wejdene should be summoned very soon. His testimony is crucial for several points. Indeed, in the hours preceding the accident, the young woman was present at her partner's side.

Absent from the car at the time of the incident, she can nevertheless provide important details about what happened before her partner took to the road. Especially since investigators are wondering whether the rapper's entourage put pressure on the victim's assistant.

The latter then gave two different theories to the investigators: “Faced with the police, she accredited that of the artist, evoking a car pulling in front of the Audi. Then, facing the investigating magistrate, she instead evoked the rapper's ‘zigzags’, specify our colleagues from Parisien. But then, did Koba LaD's entourage force the young woman to give the same version as the singer ?

The investigation also revealed that a close friend of the rapper had gone to the scene of the accident just after the incident: “His agent came to me and asked me what had happened. He asked me for my identity and he told me that it was the police who had sent him to ask me for it”, the assistant had indicated.
