IN BRIEF

  • In January, Laeticia Hallyday discovered that her villa in Pacific Palisades had been destroyed by fires in Los Angeles.
  • She shared a video of her home before the fire on Instagram, expressing gratitude despite the loss.
  • Laeticia Hallyday remains optimistic, hoping that life will be reborn after the devastating fires.

Laeticia Hallyday is living a real nightmare. At the beginning of January, terrible fires hit the city of Los Angeles. While Johnny Hallyday's widow was in France for the end-of-year holidays, she discovered that her house, located in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood, had been touched.

After an emergency return to the United States, Jade and Joy's mother had confirmation that her villa had completely burned down. A real blow since it was the place where she rebuilt herself, with her daughters, after the death of the Boss.

Laeticia Hallyday reveals the latest images of her house

Thursday, January 23, Laeticia Hallyday took to her Instagram account to give her news. She decided to reveal the latest images of her house. “This video was on December 14, 2024, a few days before Christmas. Today, we have lost everything… and yet, the essential is still there. We are safe, standing, and despite the pain, nothing will make us weaken” she indicated.

In the video, Laeticia Hallyday first films the exterior of her sumptuous house, decorated for Christmas. She then approaches the entrance to take an interest in the family's dog, Cheyenne. She then briefly reveals the interior, decorated with great taste.

Jade and Joy's mother share a message of gratitude

In the description of her video, Laeticia Hallyday is at length returned to her “écase of serenityé”. While she lived “the brightest days” of her life in Pacific Palisades, she claims to keep precious memories in her heart. The rest of her message is then filled with gratitude.

Johnny Hallyday's widow thinks of her “neighbors and friends” who have lost everything. She thanks the firefighters, but also the many messages of support received since losing her home. Finally, the one who settled in Malibu thanks some of her friends for their welcome after the fire. “I remain hopeful that these fires will soon be under control and that, despite the ashes, life will be reborn for each of us” she finally concluded.
