Jean-Pierre Foucault's slightly rancid vision will not make him millions. At 77, the iconic TF1 presenter is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Miss France show. A show he began presenting in 1995, when at the time it was just a “small family party” broadcast on France 3.
Like the election of beauty queens, Jean-Pierre Foucault also seems to have remained stuck in time. Interviewed by the TVMag of Le Figaro, he of course spoke again, proudly, of his baby, “a great show that brought together, from the first year, 10.5 million viewers.”He also talked about his activities when he is not in the spotlight. One of them ? Watching television. He particularly enjoys the talk show of a certain Léa Salamé.

The one who replaced Thomas Isle on Europe 1 gave a ten times more enthusiastic opinion on male presenters. He is notably 100% fan of Cyril Féraud and Cyril Hanouna. He considers them downright as the “two big discoveries of this decade”. “They are brilliant”, he expressed, admiringly. It is no secret that Jean-Pierre Foucault and Cyril Hanouna know and appreciate each other.
In the rest of the interview, he once again displayed all his admiration for the C8 troublemaker. Asked about the imminent shutdown of the channel, he declared : “Çit deeply saddens me that nine people decide to stop the first DTT channel, while millions of viewers appreciate it. I told Cyril Hanouna that I was very sad. This arbitrary decision by the supervisory authority will jeopardize the situation of hundreds of employees.”
And, still on Cyril Hanouna, the one who has not said his last word said not to find that the presenter goes too far. On the contrary. According to him, “he is an extraordinary showman and, like all showmen, he borders on excess. But we can't blame him for it, otherwise “TPMP” would be tasteless. There, sometimes, it's really spicy.”
