Like every year, LG will be at CES in Las Vegas in January. And in the meantime, it has just given a taste of the new products that will be exhibited at this tech show. Among these, there will be the new LG SIGNATURE microwave. And the least we can say is that this new household appliance does not look at all like the microwave you have in your kitchen.

Indeed, in addition to its main function, the new microwave from LG's ultra-premium brand includes a 27-inch screen with Full HD resolution on the front, Wi-Fi connectivity, speakers, and 2 internal cameras.

What are these high-tech features for?

First, the Full HD display is a way to entertain yourself in the kitchen. It can also serve as a control center for connected appliances in the home. And thanks to the cameras, it is also possible to monitor dishes while they are cooking, or to generate time-lapse videos. The microwave can also be synchronized with the new LG SIGNATURE oven, in order to display dishes while they are cooking, which saves the user from having to bend down to look inside the oven.

“The expanded second-generation LG SIGNATURE lineup seamlessly combines advanced technology with a sleek, modern design to deliver a smarter and more efficient luxury home lifestyle”, said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Home Appliance Solution Company. “With the seamless fusion of cutting-edge smart home, AI and connectivity technologies, we will continue to provide customers with transformative experiences that exceed their expectations.”

LG will likely provide more details on these products at the Las Vegas show.
