The trial of Tamara Lich and Chris Barber will examine on Friday the impact of the truckers' convoy on public transportation during the three-week protest that clogged the streets of downtown Ottawa in the winter of 2022.
The court is expected to hear from Natalie Huneault, an OC Transpo employee.
During the first 15 days of the trial, many witnesses have already described how OC Transpo buses were diverted due to crowds and large parked trucks.
An owner of several local businesses, Chantal Biro, is also expected to testify.
The Crown plans to ask them how the demonstration disrupted the daily lives of Ottawa residents and businesses.
Tamara Lich and Chris Barber face charges of mischief, intimidation, #x27;obstructing the work of police officers and having advised other people to commit misdeeds.
